About Me

Yesenia Colorado is currently based in the suburbs of Chicago. Starting by working in retail as one of her first jobs, she quickly developed her love for clothes, which led to fashion. This led her to study Fashion Business, focusing on Marketing at Columbia College Chicago.

After graduating, she worked as a beauty and fashion writer for ClothedUp.com, which led to her position as a social media coordinator for Slide Jewels. She currently works as a freelance writer and marketing sample coordinator. 

“This blog started as a page to showcase my Portfolio but has transformed into a blog and personal mood board for inspiration through the changing seasons. Growing up, I followed trends and constantly bought new clothes. The rise of social media influencers began, and for me, the shift from following trends to creating a wardrobe with clothes that showcase a person’s personality started.

My love for fashion continues to grow and evolve, and with it also began my interest in self-care: skincare, bodycare, and haircare. My hope for this blog is for it to grow into a community of like-minded people with the same interests.”
